Configuring Internet Explorer 6 for Safety-Page 7

Internet Explorer provides for a number of ways to configure the handling of "cookies". The figure above shows the dialog box obtained by clicking the "Privacy" tab. A discussion of what Internet cookies are and what they do is given here.

The figure above shows a slider where the level of cookie control can be set. It is also possible to override the general setting by clicking on the "Edit" button as shown below.


The next page shows the function for controling cookies from individual sites.
