Internet Explorer Security- Comparison of Internet Security Zone in Different Versions of Internet Explorer 6

Some changes have occurred in the security zone settings for Internet Explorer 6 since the advent of Windows XP. Microsoft formerly included a Java Virtual Machine in the Windows operating system but has dropped it after a series of on again, off again actions in the dispute with Sun that has now been settled. Thus the Microsoft VM setting is not present in later machines. Also the Microsoft .Net framework is being installed on many XP systems and settings for this have been added in those machines. Further changes have been introduced in the service pack 2 update for Windows XP. A comparison of the different settings for three versions of Internet Explorer 6 is given below for the case of the Internet security zone.
